2 OCTOBER 2024
Reliefed and Polestar are collaborating to drive innovation and advance technology as part of an EIC (European Innovation Council) funded project: “z.truded tab cooled battery solution”. A customised z.trusion cooling plate, adapted for a Polestar prototype battery pack module, has now been tested at Polestar with positive results.
21 AUGUST 2024
Reliefed has successfully completed the initial phase of producing z.truded bipolar fuel cell plates, in a project sponsored by Vinnova, Sweden's innovation agency. Given the positive results, Reliefed is now granted new funding, this time from the Swedish Energy Agency, to advance the plate to the next level, where it will be tested in a system environment in a new project with a mobility OEM.
16 JANUARY 2024
Reliefed Technologies, a Swedish company with the pioneering z.trusion technology, today announced the grant of a patent on a new production method for 3D electrodes. This latest addition to Reliefed Technologies' patent portfolio further strengthens the company’s position in battery technology innovation.
9 JAN 2023
Sponsored by Vinnova, Sweden's Innovation agency, Reliefed is starting a project to investigate the possibility of using z.trusion to create thin-walled, high performance fuel cell plates with low weight and low cost in new, innovative materials. The aim of the project is to develop a fuel cell bipolar plate prototype, to showcase the potential and abilities to interested fuel cell companies and partners by the end of 2023.
8 OCTOBER 2022
Reliefed Technologies have been selected from over 1,000 applications to receive 2.5 million euros in grant and 3.5 million euros in equity from the European Innovation Council, EIC. The funding aims to support the development and commercialization efforts of the z.trusion manufacturing technology and fund the establishment of a world's first z.trusion Tech Center, thereby accelerating the adoption of z.trusion technology in the battery industry.
